More playing around with the Perlin Noise algorithm. The difference this time is that I am diffusing the background each iteration. That smooths the perlin trails to make it look more vapor-like.

I'm debating whether I should offer these as prints. It's currently my desktop wallpaper.

Perlin Canyons

I was playing around with Perlin noise again and decided to try the usual Perlin landscape generator. The following is just a Perlin implementation that uses a height-based color sampler. The results look like the Grand Canyon.
